Mime Performing
So, I've been researching where the hell I can perform my mime. It seems fringe festivals are the way to go. I've been reading Seth Godin's "The Practice" about shipping art and it's been inspiring. I did the Hollywood Fringe a few years ago, but was unsuccessful. It was my fault, my act wasn't good at all (although people complimented my mime abilities). I based it on clown acts from around the world and referenced those acts. Lesson learned: the clowns who performed those acts had developed them over years. It was painful to be in a flop. But it seems Canada and that fringe is the way to go (although there's one coming up in Milan and I have a friend I can stay with there).
